Why accommodation delivery can improve the itinerary
Not every holiday needs a car from the first minute. Central Chania is walkable, and parking can be less convenient than simply exploring on foot. If the road-trip portion begins later, delivering the car to the hotel can align the rental period with the days it is actually used.
For resort stays outside the centre, hotel delivery can also avoid a separate trip to a rental office.
Information needed for a smooth handover
Give the exact accommodation name, area, pickup date and desired time. If access is unusual, add a short note. For villas or properties with multiple entrances, a clear meeting point can help.

Hotel pickup with airport or one-way return
The pickup and return points do not have to be identical when a supported one-way arrangement is available. You can request a hotel pickup followed by CHQ, Rethymno, Heraklion Airport or Heraklion Port return.

Choosing the car for a hotel-based holiday
For central or west-Chania stays with frequent parking, a small or compact car can be easier to use. Families or groups should choose based on luggage and child-seat needs, not only on seat count.
If automatic transmission is essential, select the automatic car type explicitly in the form.
What changes the final quote
The published starting rates help compare vehicle types, but the confirmed total depends on the exact dates, rental duration, vehicle type and transmission, availability, insurance choice, pickup/return locations and any special delivery or one-way logistics.
Basic insurance (CDW) is included. Optional full insurance (FDW) is +€12 per rental day and reduces the excess to zero for covered damage, subject to exclusions. No credit card is required and no rental security deposit is blocked. Any applicable delivery or one-way fee is confirmed with the quote.
