Souda Port versus Chania Venetian Harbour
These are different places with different functions. The Venetian Harbour is the historic waterfront in central Chania; Souda is the working ferry-port area. A quote should therefore say Souda Port when that is the actual pickup or return point.
This avoids a surprisingly common location misunderstanding before a ferry connection.
What to include with a ferry arrival
Give the ferry arrival date/time and, if known, the vessel or route information. The handover time should reflect when you can realistically meet after disembarking.
If the ferry is delayed, keep the rental contact informed so the confirmed arrangement can be adjusted where possible.
From Souda to a Chania or Crete itinerary
